My close relationship with writing lives as much in my bones as it does in my brain. Much of my writing, be it poetic, narrative, or academic in nature, explores themes related to contradictions, insatiability, abuses of power, navigating trauma, and finding magic in the mundane. I believe in the power of language as a vehicle for helping ideas take tangible shape, fostering intra-/interpersonal connections, and accessing personal, political, and collective liberation. I love reading my poetry live, and am available for events and potential collaborations.
