INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME.

Therapy has the power to facilitate a relationship with the self that is tender, introspective, and vibrant. My goal is to support you in nurturing this relationship.

In therapy we will always work as collaborators, exploring your inner landscape and weaving a customized experience that is tailored to your preferences, needs, and processing style. I specialize in trauma, expressive arts approaches, and supporting adults across the intersectional identity spectrum.

My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in anti-oppression, empowerment, and recovery-focused frameworks. I am inspired by efforts to deinstitutionalize healthcare, peer-led movements, and the principles of liberation psychology. I continuously strive to learn more about ways to integrate best practices in modern clinical care with ancient wisdom traditions. I question the construct of “mental illness” as individual pathology and believe that the historical, cultural, and sociopolitical context in which a person is enmeshed shapes our strengths and vulnerabilities. As a mental health provider, artist, poet, and community arts organizer, each of these practices informs the holistic nature of my therapeutic approach.

Maximizing equitable access to high-quality, integrative healthcare is incredibly important to me. I am a proud member of the Mental Health Collaborative at Casa de Salud, a coalition of therapists working together to provide free services to immigrant, refugee, and other uninsured community members. The physical location of my practice is located on the ancestral and unceded land of multiple indigenous tribes including the Osage, Illini, and Missouria people. It is with humility that I seek to engage in wellness work, recognizing how both privilege and oppression have touched my life, and offering the gifts I have to share.
